Chicken Koka is the Koka I grew up with, but the Koka I grew up with isn't the Koka I love. When I was a little boy my mum used to overcook the Koka (taking away from the whole instant noodles aspect) and this gave them a sort of strange taste that I can't quite describe. But that is not the taste for me. The Koka I came to love happened when I began to experiment with Koka myself and now I can safely say that I am in true love with the Koka.
So, onto the review! Once they were cooked, I had to wait a little while for them to cool down so I wouldn't burn my tongue off, but that was expected seeing as we were dealing with boiling water. The taste of chicken flavour actually does sort of taste like chicken, and the picture of a chicken on the seasonings sachet is an extra cheeky bonus! They smell like noodles should...orgasmic! And as with most instant noodles, leave you wanting more, but still satisfied.
Overall, i'd give the chicken flavoured Koka a 7/10. The only real drawback to this kind of Koka is that chicken flavoured noodles really are the default noodles, they don't have the special extra 'pizazz' to coin a phrase.
PUPPY POPZ'S REVIEW
So i made some Koka and i waited for it to cool down
And it was taking for ages so i had some anyway
And even if it burnt me mouth it still tasted like heaven
It was the smell of the Koka that made me need it that second
The only badside to Chicken Koka is that once you've had it
Quite a bit you get bored of the taste
I still love it though
8/10
MR. LEE'S WISE WORDS
I've only ever tried Chicken Koka, mainly because they're perfect and I don't fix what's not broken. I'm a bit of a chicken lover regardless (not in that way), but Chicken Koka immortalises the flavour of chicken in sachet form, and perfectly at that.
That said I'll be tasting every other variety to compare every flavour, but I don't think any will measure up. 10/10
